AI workflow setup
One-off project Getting AI tools set up for your business and working on your actual tasks, not demo ones.
Most businesses have heard they should be using AI and have no idea where it fits. I start from the jobs you already do every week — writing the same replies, summarising notes, drafting descriptions — and set the tools up around those. You get something you can use on Monday, not a subscription you forget about.
What you get
- The right tool picked for your work, and the reason why
- Accounts set up and configured
- Saved prompts and templates for the tasks you repeat
- A written walkthrough in plain language
- A sit-down session so your team can actually use it
A good fit if
- You keep hearing about AI and want a straight answer on what it does for you
- You or your staff retype similar things all day
- You tried a tool once, got a weird answer, and gave up on it
02
Automation and integrations
Either Connecting the tools you already pay for so the same information stops being typed in twice.
Almost every small business runs on three or four systems that do not talk to each other, with a person in the middle copying between them. That person is expensive and they make typos. I find those handoffs and close them — a script, a scheduled job, a link between two apps — so the data moves on its own.
What you get
- A map of where your information currently gets rekeyed
- The handoffs closed, in priority order
- Scheduled jobs for anything that runs on a clock
- Notes on what happens when something fails, and who to tell
A good fit if
- Someone on your team is a human copy-paste bridge between two systems
- You export the same report every week and reformat it by hand
- Your tools each hold a slightly different version of the truth

Admin and back-office support
Ongoing The ongoing paperwork, inbox and records work that keeps getting pushed to the evening.
This is the straightforward one. Inbox triage, scheduling, data entry, cleaning up documents, getting records into an order you can search. I use AI where it genuinely speeds things up and do it by hand where it does not, and you do not have to care which is which.
What you get
- Inbox and calendar kept under control
- Data entry and record-keeping handled on an agreed schedule
- Documents and spreadsheets cleaned up and consistent
- Filing structures you can still navigate a year from now
- A regular check-in so nothing goes quiet
A good fit if
- Admin is the thing you do after closing, when you should be going home
- You need the help steadily, not once
- Hiring someone part-time is more than you need right now

Custom small tools
One-off project A small piece of software built around how your business actually runs, when nothing off the shelf fits.
Sometimes the reason a process is painful is that every product built for it assumes a business three times your size. A small purpose-built tool — inventory, a log, a tracker, an internal form — can fit the way you already work instead of forcing you to change it. These stay deliberately small. I would rather build the thing you need than a platform you have to learn.
What you get
- A working tool, built around your process rather than a generic one
- Your existing data brought into it
- Training for whoever will use it during a shift
- The source code, and a plain-English note on how it works
- An agreement on who maintains it and how changes get made
A good fit if
- You run something important out of a spreadsheet that keeps breaking
- The software built for your industry costs more than the problem does
- You have a process that works, and just want it to stop being manual
